Hello, fellow Teaching Associates!!
I hope everyone had a great first day of class. I know I did. Although I spent most of the morning on the verge of passing out (partly due to heat, and partly due to nervousness), I fell right into the motion of teaching about ten minutes after class started. The kids are great! They are all very attentive, maybe because I kept cracking cheesy jokes (nervous!), but it really did help that they were pretty responsive to me. I feel lucky to be where I am, as I know you all do as well. We are gonna have a great year...I can feel it! Lastly, I am so glad that I get to share this experience with you all, it just makes the experience of teaching that much more positive.
